Life today is characterised by hectic schedules and high levels of pressure to succeed and to be successful. It is fast-paced and demanding - whether we are high up in the corporate world, at school or a stay-at-home Mum.
As days, months and then years rush by, in order to cope with life, we neglect our own needs, emotions, personal problems, dreams and goals. Very often we find ourselves being held back by something we just can't put our finger on. Or, we are acutely aware of issues in our lives which we just dont know how to get past.
My name is Sarah van Heerde and I run a counselling, psychotherapy and Christian counselling practice from my home in Ascot. I work with individuals aged 13 upwards, on an open ended basis. Each counselling session lasts for one hour, once a week. I subscribe to the Psychodynamic approach whereby we explore how your past is impacting on your present day life.
My practice in Ascot is within easy reach of Bracknell; Windsor; Sunningdale; Sunninghill; Surrey Heath and Wokingham.
